The Conscious Mind is where we spend most of our time, but its actually the weaker part of the mind. This part of of our mind is our rational, analytical, short term memory part of our mind. The conscious part analyses everything, which is why we use Hypnosis to temporarily bypass this part of the mind so we can communicate directly with the unconscious part of the mind (some people refer to this as the sub-conscious mind)
